Big and Tiny Cancellation Policies

FOR FULL-TIME CHILDCARE

Cancellations

By enrolling in a full-time program at Big and Tiny, families understand that they are committing to remain enrolled for the remainder of the school year (September to June).

All cancellations prior to June of the school year in progress are subject to a cancellation fee equal to the sum of tuition due for each of the remaining months in the school year. Any request to withdraw your child from the program must be made with no less than 30 days prior to the desired date of withdrawal. All cancellation requests should be made in writing, emailed to info@bigandtiny.com (CA) or ny@bigandtiny.com (NY). Verbal or telephone cancellations are not valid.

We understand that extenuating circumstances necessitating withdrawal from the program may arise.  Cancellations for the enrolled program will be exempt from the cancellation fee described above only for the following reasons:

RELOCATION: If you or your child relocate more than 5 miles away from the Big and Tiny studio location, you may cancel your enrollment with proof of relocation, such as a utility bill, lease or deed to a house, or a letter from your human resources department stating you have been relocated to another region.

MEDICAL: If your doctor finds you or your child medically unable to visit Big and Tiny for more than three (3) months, we will just need a letter from your physician. They do not need to give us specifics, just their medical opinion that you are unable to visit Big and Tiny for at least three months. You may deliver this note in person to your Big and Tiny studio director and fill out a cancellation form, or you may email us the doctor’s note with your request that your enrollment be cancelled.

Refund Policy

Big and Tiny does not provide refunds for deposits, tuition, pass packs, or drop-ins. These items are also non-transferable. No deductions will be made for any absences, travel, holiday, illness or closures. In no case shall monthly or one-time payments be retroactively refunded.

FOR WEEKENDS, PRESCHOOL PREP, & ENRICHMENT

Cancellations

Registrations for weekend, preschool prep, and enrichment classes or drop-ins may be cancelled within three (3) days from the purchase date. Notice of cancellation shall be emailed to info@bigandtiny.com (CA) or ny@bigandtiny.com (NY). All monies paid pursuant to the Registration Agreement shall be refunded within seven business days of receipt of the notice of cancellation, less a $125 cancellation fee. Thereafter, you understand registrations cannot be cancelled. Registration for enrichment classes and/or passes can be rescheduled for another date so long as prior written notice is emailed to info@bigandtiny.com (CA) or ny@bigandtiny.com (NY) at least 24 hours in advance.
